Yearlong Awards Ceremony
Join us on May 30th for the year long awards ceremony.
3rd & 4th Grade will be at 8:15.
1st & 2nd will be at 9:15.
*1st grade 4th quarter awards will take place after the ceremony in each child's classroom.
Ladson Elementary School is Having its First Annual Talent Show!
Students in grades CD-5th are invited to audition!
There are two divisions - CD-2nd & 3rd-5th.
Acts can be individual or groups
(No more than 4 people in a group)
Auditions are April 17th!
See Ms. Speed to set up a time.
The Talent Show will be Tuesday May 15th at 6:00.
1st place prize in each category at each level.
Everyone will receive a participation prize.
**Remember your PAWS!!!
No inappropriate lyrics or music.
No referrals during the process of the talent show.

Water may be purchased for $1.00.

There will be a chorus performance, an art show and "Ladson's Got Talent" students will be there to perform as well!

5th grade graduation will take place at 12:30 pm on Friday May 25th!
Kindergarten 4th Quarter Awards will take place on Tuesday May 31st at 8:00 am in each child's class. Please contact your child's teacher is you have any questions!
The graduation ceremony for our kindergarten students will take place on Thursday May 31st at 8am.

He is our 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year!
The North Charleston Cultural Arts Department’s artist-in-residence Lori Isom visited Ladson Elementary School during the week of December 5th. Ms. Isom worked directly with fifth graders during her entire 12-hour residency. She taught students basic drawing skills and how to critique their artwork. Students greatly enjoyed working with Ms. Isom and at the end of the residency had completed two wonderful works of art to add to their portfolios.
Congratulations to Ms. Robyn Powers for being selected by Office Max to highlight a teacher in the community!!
Ms. Powers name was turned into Office Max for being our Teacher of The Year for 2010-2011. Her name was picked and Office Max came to our school on October 4, 2011 to surprise her. She was presented with a plaque and a lot of teaching goodies for her and her class.
